In Reply To Anyone using A-beam rods like the Carrillo? posted by ZiNnYc on August 15, 2010 at 10:29 PM

Message both MixManMash and myself have the Carillo A-beam rods installed in our IPP motors.

Pros: light, strong, and much cheaper ($ 600.00 less from Kyle's quote) than the Carillo H-beam rods. Finish looked much better than the Pauter rods.

Much lighter than Pauter rods, similar to Crower for weight.

Mine were $ 1220.00 as part of my IPP motor build (had to get some shipped in as there were none available at the time)

Regards,

My Zs are hybrid vehicles, they run on gasoline and money

I'm off to wax mine and go for a drive now.
